What are Dental Braces / Teeth Braces used for?

Dental braces, also known as teeth clips, are used for correcting a variety of orthodontic issues that not only affect the appearance but also the functionality of the teeth and mouth. These issues include crooked teeth, which may overlap or twist at odd angles, and crowded teeth where there is not enough space in the mouth to fit all teeth comfortably. Braces can also address gapped teeth where there are noticeable spaces between teeth, and rotated teeth that are turned out of their proper alignment. Additionally, dental braces play a crucial role in improving overall facial appearance and aesthetics.

They are also effective in treating various bite problems such as open bite, where there is a noticeable gap between the upper and lower teeth when the mouth is closed; crossbite, where the upper teeth bite inside the lower teeth; and deep bite, where the upper teeth cover the lower teeth excessively. Braces are used to correct maxillary or mandibular protrusion, where the upper or lower jaw is pushed forward, and midline diastema, which refers to a gap or space between the two upper front teeth, among other dental issues.

Types of Braces

metal braces

Metal Braces

Starting at Rs. 18000

Metal braces are the traditional and most common type of orthodontic treatment. They are composed of steel bands, brackets, and wires. A thin, flexible archwire is placed over the brackets and secured by tiny elastic bands known as ligatures. These braces are visible when you smile.

3m metal braces

3M Metal Braces

Starting at Rs. 24000

3M Metal Braces are made from high-quality stainless steel, designed for effective teeth straightening and alignment correction. They boast durability due to their robust materials, ensuring long-lasting use. Engineered for optimal performance, their efficient technology enhances treatment results, while their design ensures a snug and comfortable fit.

self-ligating-braces

Self Ligating Braces

Starting at Rs. 35000

Self-ligating braces feature metal brackets that do not require elastics to secure the wire. They are more compact and comfortable compared to standard metal braces. These braces facilitate arch expansion and help minimize the need for tooth extractions, making them an efficient orthodontic solution.

ceramic-braces

Ceramic Braces

Starting at Rs. 28000

Ceramic braces come with clear brackets that blend naturally with your teeth, mirroring the shape and size of metal braces but are less visible. While they offer a discreet orthodontic solution, they require more careful handling and protection to maintain their appearance and functionality.

lingual-braces

Lingual Braces

Starting at Rs. 16000

Lingual braces are custom-fitted and placed behind the teeth, remaining invisible from the front. They apply constant pressure to align teeth discreetly. These braces combine aesthetics with functionality, offering an effective and comfortable orthodontic solution without visible wires.
